Forum power: A batch of novelties

Ladiiiiies and gentlemen! Now is the moment you’ve all been waiting for. The release of new features! Your dashboard keeps evolving thanks to your suggestions. This week, Withings offers you not two, not three but fourrrrr new innovations! (Applause).

Enough with the circus tone and let’s discover this week's features:

The first one is very useful for new users. It is now possible to import massive history data directly on your curves. The process will be more detailed in another post.

On the contrary, the second innovation is dedicated to those who already have a lot of data on their dashboard. You can zoom in or out the vertical scale on your weight curve. It is very useful in order to get a better look at your data evolution.

Click on the + or – buttons until you get the desired view. With this feature, monitoring your weight is getting even more precise.

The fourth evolution is simple but very handy. The default view will now stay as you last left it. For instance, if you like to watch your lean mass and your weight curves on a weekly basis, it will be set like this next time you connect to your dashboard.

And last but not least, it is now possible to set an objective line in decimals. It is quite useful when you get close to achieve your goal. You can be very precise in defining what ideal weight you wish to have.

Seriously, the unit scaling feature is nice. But I want that trend graph sooo badly ;-)

Two words: English please!!

I'm glad you're trying and all. Don't strain anything patting yourself on the back. I don't think I'll use any of these.

I'd love to see blackberry or android apps that don't go through gymtechnik. Their website was flaky and support hasn't emailed me back after a week.

@ bnz Thanks for your idea! We will take a close look into it.

@theehiv We are going to contact GymTechnik and get back to you.

I love my scale and I find the graphs really useful, but what I'd love is...

(An easy one first...)

Some horizontal and vertical graph lines so that we can compare the readings more easily. At the moment I'm creating a new browser window and using the top/side of it to line things up :D

(Then a harder one...)

Can we have the option to overlay multiple lines on the graphs? It would be cool to see lean mass, fat and weight on the same graph.

(Then, possibly, a highly unlikely one...)

Does the scale measure body water pecentage? And if it does, could we have the option to see it. I know it's data that most people won't want, but it'd be nice to have the option :)

Cheers,

ben
