Users story : “The Withings scale and our long distance relationship”

I recently discovered that people are using the Withings scale in very unsuspected ways. Each of you has a very personal relationship with your connected scale. Therefore, I decided to tell YOUR stories on this blog! You’ll see there are a lot of amazing anecdotes.

This first story is a very romantic testimonial. A married couple living in the United States is using the Withings scale to keep a long distance relationship. “We are living on opposite coasts this year, so we purchased one Withings scale for each home. We check in on each other’s weight every morning! ». The Withings scale is linking them, trough distance!

Furthermore, it helps them both to stay fit : “It’s a great way to keep us motivated — and honest! »

And you ? How do you use your Withings scale ?

Forum power: A batch of novelties

Ladiiiiies and gentlemen! Now is the moment you’ve all been waiting for. The release of new features! Your dashboard keeps evolving thanks to your suggestions. This week, Withings offers you not two, not three but fourrrrr new innovations! (Applause).

Enough with the circus tone and let’s discover this week’s features:

The first one is very useful for new users. It is now possible to import massive history data directly on your curves. The process will be more detailed in another post.

On the contrary, the second innovation is dedicated to those who already have a lot of data on their dashboard. You can zoom in or out the vertical scale on your weight curve. It is very useful in order to get a better look at your data evolution.

Click on the + or – buttons until you get the desired view. With this feature, monitoring your weight is getting even more precise.

The fourth evolution is simple but very handy. The default view will now stay as you last left it. For instance, if you like to watch your lean mass and your weight curves on a weekly basis, it will be set like this next time you connect to your dashboard.

And last but not least, it is now possible to set an objective line in decimals. It is quite useful when you get close to achieve your goal. You can be very precise in defining what ideal weight you wish to have.

Wiscale tip: WeightWatch is on!

Do you share your scale with other users? I personally do. And I like to have a quick look on their curves from my iPhone thanks to Wiscale. The good news is that this application got user-friendlier. As a matter of fact, it is now very easy to switch between the different accounts you have access to.

Let’s imagine you want to check out whether your boyfriend actually did his pushups, or if your girlfriend didn’t eat that chocolate box she promised she would not touch  ;-)  You can easily shift from your account to his/hers directly from your curves.

To do so, lean over your iPhone to display the dashboard. Then click on the name in the top right hand corner. The list of all your users will roll out. Tap on the one you wish to see and Wiscale will directly show it.
