New functionalities are available in the Withings iOS app

December 9, 2011

We have released an update for the Withings iOS app (named “WiScale” in some countries) that adds two new features that had been requested by users.

– The first feature allows you to create custom reminders of when you need to take a new measurement, either with the scale or the blood pressure monitor. When the time you have set comes, you receive a push notification on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

– The second feature works in the same way to remind you to send your blood pressure data to your doctors.

To take advantage of these new features, simply update the Withings app through the app store.

Last minute addition : we are aware that a bug affects some iPad users under iOS 5 with this release. If the “Start” button does not appear when you plug your blood pressure monitor, simply rotate your iPad to portrait mode and the “Start” button will reappear. We apologize for the inconvenience and we will release a fix as soon as possible.
